Penza State Traffic Inspectorate warned of fog and frost
Autumn brings to the roads rain, wet foliage, morning frosts and thick fogs

Autumn brings to the roads rain, wet foliage, morning frosts and thick fog. Due to high humidity and changing weather, the car can behave very differently than in summer. The risk of accidents is growing, and pedestrians – the most vulnerable category of traffic participants – are the most affected in such conditions.
To protect people, drivers need to be especially careful near the crossings. Approaching the “zebra”, it is better to slow down in advance and be ready to stop. Pedestrians should remember: you can cross the road only in specially designated places. Before stepping onto the roadway, make sure the driver sees you and really lets you through. Even having an advantage does not guarantee safety, so it is important to keep track of traffic. If you are going with a child, hold his hand firmly.
In autumn, it gets dark early, and wind and fog further worsen the view. At dusk or in the rain, slush absorbs the light of the headlights, and a person on the road becomes almost invisible. To be visible, use reflective elements on clothing. With the onset of cold weather, everyone is insulated, but when approaching the road, do not forget to remove the hood - it limits the view and prevents you from hearing what is happening around.
