The capital became the place of summing up the results of the project “Without a statute of limitations”. The ceremony was held on October 22 at the Victory Museum. The event was organized as part of the national project “Youth and Children”. The main sensation for the Penza region was the recognition of the exposition from school No. 221 of the city of Zarechny. The work of young local historians, dedicated to the tragic events of the genocide in the Rogachevsky district of Belarus, won the status of absolute prize-winner at the Festival of Museum Expositions.
High award on the stage rose to receive the teacher of history Ilya Murylev and tenth grader Zakhar Alekseev. The diploma and commemorative standard were personally presented to them by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.
Right at the ceremony, the head of the Ministry of Education made an important statement. He announced the launch of a new tradition. From now on, the best school museums of the country will annually receive such commemorative standards within the framework of the project “Without statute of limitations”.
The scale of the festival is impressive. This year, almost three thousand educational organizations joined the participation, and the total number of participants exceeded 13,000 people. Over the five years of the competition, 169 organizations representing more than 500 participants from 63 regions of Russia became winners.
The success of the Zarechens did not go unnoticed. Colleagues and children congratulated Acting Minister of Education of the Penza region Laris Kazakov. She expressed gratitude to the school staff for their careful attitude to the history of the Union State. According to her, this is of great importance both for Russia and fraternal Belarus, because our peoples have a common past that requires respect. Kazakova stressed that the Penza region will continue to strengthen reliable ties with the Belarusian regions.
