In ancient Pechora, in the Pskov region, the IV All-Russian project school "Heritage" came to an end. The forum gathered under its banners a hundred young talents from 14 to 17 years from 46 regions of Russia. The Penza region at this intensity was adequately represented by Martha Dudkina, a student of the College of Arts and an active participant of the First Movement.
This project of the First Movement (as part of the Academy of the First) is focused on preserving historical and cultural heritage, studying folk traditions and pumping youth initiatives. The work was carried out on three vectors: cultural and historical heritage, documentary historical cinema and decorative and applied art.
The eight-day marathon was incredibly tight. Teenagers not only absorbed the culture of the country, but also went to ancient Izborsk and Pskov. They discussed with experts how to preserve historical memory and strengthen national identity. The program included lectures, trainings, master classes, excursions and even theatrical productions with spiritual conversations.
Martha admitted that she reached the final for the second time. If last year the school hosted guests in Sevastopol, in Chersonesos, now in the Pskov region.
The culmination of the forum was the protection of projects. Martha as part of the team performed in the category "Short historical film". Their work “Ringing over the City”, telling about the secrets of the bell ringing, impressed the jury and won first place.
According to the student, in a matter of days they had to make a real documentary. The girl noted that the process was very exciting: the team from the first day clearly assigned responsibilities and created a professional film.
Martha Dudkina has long been closely involved in the First Movement. On account of her victory in the regional stage of the project "First Student" and a rich experience of mentoring in the "Eagles of Russia". She also pumped skills on the shift “Professional Starts” in “Orlyonka” and led a training video contest of the Ministry of Education. And her author’s project “Theater and the Internet: Not Instead, but Together”, dedicated to productions at ZOOM, has been walking through the cities of Rosatom for the third year and helping children’s groups in border areas.
