Parents of children with disabilities in Kalmykia are given additional weekends

Residents of Kalmykia, working and raising a child with a disability, are given additional days off. Since the beginning of the year, 3,316 such days have been paid.

The regional branch of the social fund reimburses employers for expenses, and parents can use four paid days a month - either independently or by sharing with their spouse.

Days are provided on the basis of an application, they can be taken at any time during the month, payment is made at the expense of the Social Fund.
