Peruvian in Russia scared hood and surprised habit to remove shoes

Peruvian Cristal came to Moscow to study at a university, but she had to get used to not only studying. Electric stove, apartment keys, cleaning and even fitting shoes were associated with unusual rules. About the difficulties after moving the girl told in the social network.

At first, Kristal lived in a university dormitory, then moved to a rented apartment. Since then, home responsibilities have increased. Previously, she maintained order only in her room, and the cleaning of common premises was organized by the administration of the university. Who and how to do it, the student did not think. In a separate apartment, the kitchen and bathroom had to be cleaned by itself.

Getting used to home appliances also failed immediately. At home in Peru, Cristal used a gas stove, so cooking began with the usual action of setting fire to a burner. The Moscow electric stove was another control. The girl had to figure out which buttons to press, how to choose the temperature and adjust the heating during cooking.

The vacuum cleaner, she said, was also an unfamiliar device. She used to sweep a broom and had no other way of cleaning the floor. A working kitchen hood initially frightened her with its noise.

Another challenge was returning home. Crystal needed to get used to constantly taking the keys and remembering the digital intercom code. At first, she forgot the keys, which led to domestic curiosities.

According to her, in Peru, she knew another way to access the building - with facial recognition or a QR code. It was also unusual to lock the door.

Especially troublesome girl considered returning with shopping. At the entrance you need to put packages, dial the code and get inside. Then go up to your floor, walk to the apartment, free your hands again, find the keys and open the door. Only after that you can make purchases and undress.

The home habit of leaving street shoes at the entrance, Kristal also mastered not immediately. In the dormitory, she took off her shoes in front of her room, and walked through the corridors and other common rooms with her shoes. In the apartment, shoes had to be left in the hallway.

This made it difficult to even choose clothes. To understand whether the dress is combined with specific shoes, the girl needs to see the whole outfit. According to her, for the sake of such fittings, you have to move several times from the bedroom to the hallway and back.

Crystal describes trash removal as a separate adventure. She is not used to looking for containers and going to them with a bag of waste. In Peru, as follows from her story about her former life, garbage was left near the house, from where it was taken by a special machine.

The girl was even more surprised by the conversation about tap water. At home, she bought bottled water or boiled it because she was afraid of bacteria. Therefore, the words of a Moscow acquaintance that tap water can be drunk without boiling, came as a surprise to her. Especially unusual was the opportunity to drink it after a household filter.

Despite all the difficulties, Kristal says she likes living in Russia. Getting comfortable in Moscow helps neighbors with whom she has good relations.
