The media often talks about experiments on social indifference. One example. In the subway passage, hired actors 12 times “robbed” the front person. In eight cases, shoes were removed from the victim. The results of the experiment are as follows: only once a compassionate woman cautiously asked the robbers: “What did you take the shoes?”

Who is to blame for this attitude? All of us. Social indifference begins with simple things: he did not give way to an elderly person in transport, did not hold the door in front of a woman, “did not notice” a severed power line, walked on the street past a motionless body..

Here is a letter from our reader Stanislav Leonchik from Kalinkovich, which he begins with the words “Personally I do not need help.” In the appeal, our reader raised several pressing everyday issues that the publishing house redirected to the Kalinkovichi RIC. Letter from S. Leonczyk. Question 1. We will talk about the existence of an underground passage between the Yurovichi monastery and the church in the village of Noviki, Mozyr district. The existence of an underground passage in Yurovichi is known. I was told about the underground passage by Piskun Vladimir, who lives in our city. He learned about it, as he was a pupil of an orphanage, which was located at the Novikovo Church. He said he and his friends were on a motorcycle. So I want you to do some research and open that up. Unless, of course, it was destroyed by a dredger that deepened the bottom of Pripyat. This was told to me by a worker who worked on a dredger.

Answer. The Kalinkovichi district executive committee reports that the written appeal of Leonchik Stanislav Danilovich has been considered. Information about the multi-kilometer dungeons going towards Mozyr and under the Pripyat River from the Yurovichi monastery has no documentary or engineering confirmation. Holy Christmas-Theotokos Yurovichi Monastery is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values and is under the protection of the state. Any work carried out on its territory requires approval of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and permission of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The initiator of such works should be the owner, in this case the Turov diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.

Appeals of residents to the chairman of the village council remained unfulfilled for “lack of funds”. My appeal to the chairman of the district executive committee went unanswered. When these trees fall, many graves will suffer. The removal of trees is at the expense of the population. But how to collect the necessary amount, if in the village lives, maybe a dozen people?

Answer. The civil cemetery in the village of Ignato-Fabiyanovka of the Kalinkovichi district was accepted on the balance sheet of the KUP "Kalinkovichi Kommunalnik" according to the actual condition. Since the trees are in the depths of the cemetery, the entrance and installation of special equipment on the territory of the cemetery are difficult. Work on the removal of dry trees (pine breeds), which pose a risk of damage to fences and monuments, is planned to be carried out by industrial mountaineering method for a safe way of working in cramped conditions. Due to the workload of Kommunalnik Kalinkovichsky, it is planned to remove trees at the cemetery in the village of Ignato-Fabianovka until 01.10.2026. The measures taken will be further reported. Question 3. A cousin of my wife has been recovering in a Mozyr boarding school for several years. He doesn't need treatment. I ask you to examine him and discharge him from this boarding school.

Answer. Regarding the treatment of a relative of the applicant, we inform you that the requirements set out in the appeal relate to another subject of personal data, whose authority to submit is not confirmed. In this regard, guided by paragraph 3 of Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of May 7, 2021 No. 99-Z “On the Protection of Personal Data”, the consideration and provision of any information to the applicant in terms of treatment of a relative is denied. Question 4. You can't go back! There is a bus route No. 9 in Kalinkovichi. It runs all over town. According to traffic, the bus must return on this route in the opposite direction. But that's not happening. Four stops from this movement have been removed. The bus does not go through the Roma village. This is the name of the area we live in. At the last stop is the post office where we pay for utilities. You can get there, you can't go back.

Answer. Regarding the work of passenger transport in the city of Kalinkovichi, we inform you that the city route No. 9 "Car terminal - ZBH" has been running around the city of Kalinkovichi for a long time and during its existence, taking into account the appeals and wishes of citizens, the schedule was optimized, the number of flights increased, and the time of its movement was adjusted.

There were no complaints from residents of Kalinkovichi regarding the arrangement of additional stops in the return movement of bus No. 9. The construction of additional stopping points is inappropriate. The distance between the stops corresponds to the operating standards for low-rise buildings (500 - 1000 meters), provided for by the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of March 31, 2026 No. 147 "On the transportation of passengers and cargo".
