By the end of 2026, about 65 km of water and sewerage networks will be transferred to Minsk
More than 30 km of water supply networks and about the same number of sanitation networks will be updated according to the results of the current project.

More than 30 km of water supply networks and about the same number of sanitation networks will be updated at the end of this year. Such data during an operational meeting in the Minsk City Executive Committee on October 19 led the Director of the UE “Minskvodokanal” Fedor Rimashevsky, reports the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

One of the most important infrastructure projects of the city, which is currently being implemented, is the reconstruction of the Minsk treatment plant.
- Now all the queues are in work, and by the end of 2026, two of the five directions will be commissioned, the head said.
In addition, in November of this year, it is planned to complete the construction of a snow alloy point on the street. Timiryazeva.

- It is expected to be able to receive snow by early December. Thus, the city will have three snow alloy points. The previous winter showed that these facilities are very important for the city, Rimashevsky said.

The company also developed an online map of water quality control in Minsk.
- Special sensors were installed at key sites that show the degree of turbidity, the director of the enterprise added. Water quality can be monitored in a dynamic manner. The number of sensors will only increase every year. This is necessary to respond more quickly to a possible deterioration in the quality of water supply. Signals from the sensors come to the dispatcher. If the level of turbidity changes, it will mean the possibility of an emergency situation, in which case a team will be sent to the site for analysis and taking the necessary measures.
