Almost 600 violations found on the waters of the Novosibirsk region for six months

Most often, owners of boats and boats went to the water without life jackets, and also violated the established rules of navigation. For non-compliance with security requirements, violators were threatened with fines of up to 20 thousand rubles.

The total amount of fines imposed for the navigation season amounted to 477 thousand rubles. All funds were allocated to the federal budget.

Navigation in the Novosibirsk region lasted from April 15 to October 15. From October 16, access to the waters of the region on small ships is prohibited.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations warns that with the onset of cold weather, being on the water becomes especially dangerous. When overturning the boat, a person may face sharp hypothermia and convulsions. In some cases, getting into cold water can lead to death.
