In the Murmansk region, 585 fathers receive a monthly allowance to care for a child up to one and a half years. This was reported in the Social Fund of Russia in the Murmansk region.

Government support is not only available to mothers. Subject to the established conditions, the father may also issue childcare allowances up to one and a half years and other statutory payments for children.

In the region, 850 fathers receive a single monthly allowance for children under 17. Since the beginning of 2026, 299 men have issued a lump sum payment at the birth of a child. In addition, 11 residents of the region became owners of certificates for maternity capital.

In total, more than 1,700 men receive child benefits from the regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia. Fathers can receive due payments through the portal "State Services" or in the client service of the SFR Branch in the Murmansk region.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” reported that almost a thousand pregnant northern women received 126 million rubles in allowance in 2026.
