The National Center for Electronic Services reminded about the capabilities of the ID card when using the portal “E-Pasluga”. This sb.by reported to NCEU.

From September 1, 2021, Belarusians began to receive ID cards and biometric passports. The use of documents of the new sample allows you to automate the identity procedure, simplifies passport control when crossing the border, and also contributes to the development of electronic services. The owner of the ID-card can be identified in any information resource and receive personalized services and electronic services through a single portal of electronic services "E-Pasluga".
Access to most electronic services requires an unambiguous strict user identification, which is possible with an electronic digital signature or ID card. The user can log in using an ID card on the portal, access his personal account and order the service online without leaving home.
The ID card is a carrier of two applications: identification and electronic digital signature, which allow access to all digitized services on the E-Pasluga portal, and there are 898 of them today. At the same time, when using an ID card, the user needs an additional device that allows authorization data from the ID card to be transferred to a personal computer, this is a reader, the NCEU said.
To simplify the procedure of authorization by ID-card and access to digitized services, the company has developed a mobile application "E-Pasluga", in which the reader is a mobile phone.
To use the mobile application "E-Pasluga" you need a smartphone with NFC function and an ID card. After activating NFC and attaching an ID card to the back of the smartphone, you need to enter PIN 1 and register your personal account.
Protection of data transmitted through the mobile application "E-Pasluga", including personal, is provided through the terminal mode of operation using cryptographic transformations in accordance with the regulatory standards of the Republic of Belarus.
Every Belarusian has personal offices on E-Pasluga, information about which is entered in the Population Register. Activation of the personal account occurs at the first entrance to it. The mobile application “E-Pasluga” is available for use by individuals and only for the Android system, the NCEU said.
Since December 2023, when the application was launched, the number of active downloads amounted to more than 46 thousand.
You can become a user of E-Pasluga without an ID card. You can log in by phone number, email, Google or Apple accounts. This is a non-strict authorization, in which case the user gets access to a minimum number of services and is deprived of the opportunity to sign an electronic document.
It is important to know that in the passport of the new sample (ID-card) there is no data on the address of registration, marriage and children. In order to obtain a set of information that is not available on the ID card, a number of electronic services have been developed.
When sending one request, you can get information about marital status and children from the GIS “Population Register” and information about the current address of registration of a citizen from the AIS “Registration of citizens of the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens and stateless persons at the place of residence and place of stay”.
In order to verify the validity of the identity document of a citizen, an electronic service “Verification of the legitimacy of identity documents” was developed (service code: 3.40.08).
RELATIVELY
Today, 302 electronic services and 596 administrative procedures out of 82 information resources are available for order on the E-Pasluga portal.
The development and provision of electronic services for different categories of consumers - citizens, businesses, government agencies and organizations is engaged in NCEU.
