Almost two thousand farmers of Kalmykia receive a pension supplement

Pensioners of Kalmykia who have worked in agriculture for more than 30 years receive a special allowance. There are about 1,800 recipients in the region. The amount of the surcharge is equal to 25% of the fixed payment, which in 2026 is 2,396 rubles.

To receive the benefit, experience in livestock, crop production and fish farming is taken into account. The list of more than 500 professions includes mechanics, agronomists, veterinarians and milkmaids. Work in kolkhozes until 1992 is counted regardless of position.

Since 2022, the registration restriction has been lifted. Now moving to the city does not deprive the pensioner of additional payment. However, the right to it is reserved only for non-working citizens. On employment, the payment is frozen, and after dismissal, it is resumed again.

To apply for an allowance, you need to apply to the Social Fund office in the Republic of Kalmykia or through the portal of public services.
