Doctors and nurses became leaders in the ranking of the most noble professions according to the residents of Tula. 28% of respondents described medical workers as moral, honest and selfless. In second place were teachers and military personnel — for each of these categories voted for 11% of respondents. Such data leads SuperJob on the results of a study among the economically active population.
Most often among medical specialties, Tulaks mentioned ambulance workers, obstetricians and surgeons.
The third line of the rating was taken by rescuers, Emergencies Ministry employees and firefighters. They are considered noble by 6% of respondents.
Another 3% of participants named working and engineering professions. The first category included miners, electricians, welders, builders and sailors. Among engineers, respondents mentioned designers, technologists, chemists, power engineers and environmentalists.
The responses also included social workers and volunteers, janitors and cleaners, pilots and cosmonauts, human rights defenders and police officers. Some participants named journalists, librarians, scientists and farmers.
At the same time, 9% of respondents believe that noble and selfless people exist in any profession. Another 7% said that in our time there are no professions that can be called moral and honest.
The responses of men and women also differed. Men were more likely to include military service, lifeguards and engineering as the noblest professions. Women were more likely to prefer doctors.
The survey was conducted from September 25 to October 15, 2026. The study is devoted to what professions residents consider an example of honesty, morality and dedication.
