Near Lipetsk planted 15 thousand pines

In the vicinity of Lipetsk was held the action “Preserve the forest”. Participants planted 15,000 young pines. The event was announced by the Governor of the region Igor Artamonov.

More than 200 people joined the landing – schoolchildren, volunteers, families and representatives of labor collectives. According to the head of the region, joint work will help create a new forest that will become part of the natural heritage of the region.

The campaign is held in spring and autumn within the framework of the national project “Environmental Wellbeing”. This year, 200 thousand young pines and birches have already been planted in the Lipetsk region as part of the initiative.
