Under the Ostrovets put into operation the reconstructed base of operational-operational point "Podoltsy"

In the northern part of the Ostrovetsky district, the reconstructed base of the operational-operational point "Podoltsy" - the branch of "Oshmyansk Electric Networks" of the RUE Grodnoenergo began to work. This was reported in Grodnoenergo, writes sb.by.

This unit has a long history: it was created back in the 70s of the last century, when it became necessary to serve a vast area of overhead power lines of 0.4-10 kV and STP away from the Ostrovets district of electric networks. Over time, the electric grid economy developed, the prestige of the energy profession grew, the brigade was replenished with new personnel.

In 2025, a construction contract was concluded, and in September 2026, the reconstructed base of the Podoltsy OES was put into operation.

For the brigade, a new building was built with a full set of living conditions: a master's office, a dressing room, a meal room with modern equipment, showers, a room for drying clothes and other rooms. A garage for a brigade car was built, equipped with everything necessary for locksmithing work. Installation of external and internal water and sewerage networks was carried out, video surveillance, fire alarm and air ventilation systems were installed. The territory is landscaped, a recreation area is provided.

- Reconstruction of the base of the OES "Podoltsy" became a landmark event for the RES. The main thing behind the updated infrastructure is qualitatively new working conditions. This means that the efficiency and safety of power engineers, on which reliable power supply to consumers in the northern part of the district depends, Oleg Kolesnik, the head of the Ostrovets RES, said.
