Near Veliky Novgorod found road signs that do not officially exist

The inter-municipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation “Novgorod” announced a warning to the GOKU “Management of Roads of the Novgorod Region “Novgorodavtodor” for placing signs that are absent in the project of road traffic organization. Information about this is posted on the website of the State Prosecutor's Office.

In the area of the seventh kilometer of the road on the road “Velikiy Novgorod – Nekhino” on October 8, 2026, during the analysis of the accident, a violation of federal legislation was found. It turned out that on the right side of the road hang road signs that physically exist, but are not officially registered in the register of road services. From the sixth kilometer of 750 meters to the sixth kilometer of 995 meters, drivers could see unregistered signs of a speed limit to 70 km / h, the recommended speed, warnings about photo and video cameras, a ban on stopping and overtaking, as well as a sign of a minimum distance of 30 meters. In fact, drivers were restricted or could be fined on the basis of signs that are officially not on this road.

Earlier, Novgorodavtodor received a warning for the lack of a stop line in front of the sign “Movement without stopping is prohibited”.
