The State Order Committee of St. Petersburg announced an auction for the supply of ground salt for the maintenance of roads. The initial price of the contract was almost 106.6 million rubles. This was reported on the portal Contour.Procurement.
The customer is the South-Western Department of Regional Roads and Improvement. The winner of the tender will supply deicing material of two types. Salt of the first type was estimated at about 7.5 thousand rubles per ton, the second - at 8.1 thousand rubles.
At the same time, the exact volume of deliveries is not defined: the goods will be paid in fact, depending on the needs of road workers. Applications from participants are accepted until November 2, and the results are planned to be summed up on November 5.
Recall that the abundant use of salt and reagents on the streets of the city has the opposite side. Sodium chloride acts aggressively on materials: it corrodes the rubber sole, leaves white stains on the skin and causes rapid corrosion of metal fittings. So St. Petersburgers should take care in advance to protect their shoes for the coming winter season.
