A teenager from Perm woke up after a coma due to an accident in Thailand

Seventeen-year-old Danil, who was in a medical coma for several days after the accident in Phuket, recovered. About this acquaintance of his family Svetlana Sherstoboyeva told “KP-Perm”.

On the night of October 5, the teenager went to friends on a bike taxi, but did not get to the place. Relatives turned to the police and volunteers, and Danila searched for almost two days. Finding him in the hospital helped publications in social networks: the teenager was unconscious, so he was not immediately identified.

According to the publication, in the taxi, which was driving Danil, crashed ATV. In the accident killed a Thai driver and the son of the former mayor of Makhachkala Askhabali Musayev. The teenager received serious injuries: his jaw was broken and his lung and liver were damaged. Tests reportedly showed no alcohol or other substances in his blood.

“The surgeons performed an operation to fasten his jaw with braces,” Sherstoboyeva said.

According to her, Danil began to respond to his mother’s voice and squeezed her hand, and then recovered.

Doctors believe that the teenager will recover, but rehabilitation will be long. He could be discharged soon. An acquaintance of the family also said that the treatment is paid for by Danil’s health insurance.
