The State Administrative and Technical Inspectorate issued a warning to the Specialized Service for Funeral Affairs. The reason was poor-quality work on the restoration of improvement at the Bolsheokhtinsky cemetery. This became known from the data of the Prosecutor General’s office.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, on the site No. 2 of the Bolsheokhta cemetery on Partizanskaya Street, the territory has still not been put in order after repair. The work warrant expired in May 2025, but drawdowns, crushed asphalt, uneven edges and sloppy saws remained on the site. The quality of recovery was extremely low. Now the institution faces administrative responsibility for violations in the field of improvement.
According to the system “Kontur.Focus”, now the service acts as a defendant in two arbitration cases totaling more than three million rubles. The institution has been operating in St. Petersburg since 2006, and headed by Dmitry Islentyev since March 2024.
