Police and representatives of the Central Bank discussed the fight against fraudsters in the Kherson region

In the Kherson region, a meeting was held between representatives of the police, the military commander’s office and the regional branch of the Southern Main Directorate of the Central Bank. Measures of joint fight against Internet crimes were discussed, the Interior Ministry said in the region.

In particular, the question of how to prevent theft of money through the Internet was raised. Methods of countering extremist manifestations were also discussed.

Internet frauds often occur in the region. Khersons receive calls from false bankers and false officials. They also receive advertisements for the sale of non-existent goods. Criminals try to take out loans on behalf of their victims.
