Kalmykia police helped the woman in labor to get to the hospital in time

In the Yashkul district of Kalmykia, traffic police officers helped a family in a critical situation. On October 13, on the federal highway "Astrakhan - Elista - Stavropol" the driver of VAZ-2112 addressed them. His car broke down, and in the cabin was a pregnant wife with contractions that began.

After assessing the situation, the inspectors transplanted the woman into a patrol car and, with special signals on, promptly took her to the maternity ward of Elista. The medics delivered the baby on time. The same evening, the head of the family told the DPS inspectors the happy news about the birth of his daughter.

Currently, the life and health of the mother and child is not threatened. Relatives of the family thanked law enforcement officers for their humanity and high professionalism.
