Pologic shores, fresh sand and architectural forms: in Mogilev, the aqua zone in the Pechersk forest park is being updated

In the favorite resting place of Mogilev residents, in the Mogilev Pechersk Forest Park, a comprehensive renovation of the aquazone and the coastal territory is underway. By the bathing season of 2027, city services promise a full “reset” of the reservoir, the correspondent of sb.by reports.

The task is to make the coastline more flat, which will increase the territory of the recreation area and make the descent to the water safe. There are also plans to remove fallen trees, bring fresh sand and install architectural forms. After cleaning the lake and removing the bottom sediments, the equipment will move to the section of the river upstream, where the Dubrovenka bed will be cleared of debris, fallen trees and excess vegetation. After cleaning the lake, the locks will be closed again, and the reservoir will gradually fill with water.

By the way, earlier in Mogilev cleared the riverbed Dubrovenka in the city center and Grebenevskoye reservoir with the improvement of the coastal territory. According to residents, clean and well-maintained water bodies are the heart of a comfortable urban environment. They turn ordinary public spaces into centers of attraction, filling the city with energy, aesthetics and harmony.
