The district cultural and entertainment festival “Minsk is the melody of our hearts” takes place in the park on Mulyavina Boulevard on September 12, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

Trade enterprises, educational, health and cultural institutions presented pavilions at the Belgosphilarmonia.

- Today, the hero city of Minsk celebrates the 959th anniversary, the head of the administration of the Soviet district Alexander Shchekovich addressed the guests of the holiday. This is a good reason to thank those lutes who care about the well-being of citizens, create coziness, and are engaged in the improvement of the district.

Shchekovich added that this year the Soviet district will celebrate its 88th anniversary.

- There is not much left until the round date: Soviet is one of the oldest districts of the city, the head of the administration said. Together we will prepare for the big holiday and work for the prosperity of the district. I want to thank everyone for what they do. A special "thank you" to utilities: all year round, without weekends, in any weather you care about cleanliness, make our life more comfortable. There are many plans and ideas ahead. Well-being, prosperity, health, success in all endeavors!

On the festive day, certificates of honor of the administration for the improvement of the district were marked by heads of housing and communal services, initiative residents, enterprises. Among them are the well-known Komarovsk market, the Belarusian National Technical University, secondary school No. 19, where the legendary mathematician Alexander Feldman teaches.

Master classes, quizzes, exhibitions and fairs of decorative and applied arts - everyone could find something to their liking. The book exposition about Minsk aroused great interest.

- On the site of libraries there are printed publications about the capital of both modern Belarusian authors and classics, said Victoria Zabolotets, Deputy Director of the Centralized System of State Public Libraries of Minsk. Among the novelties are a series of books “Modern Belarus”, colorful albums that reveal the beauty of our city. Adults are invited to answer the questions of the quiz, children - to decorate coloring books, get acquainted with new books.

No less demand was used by the “Territory of Health and Active Longevity”.

- The festive day is an occasion not only to relax, spend time with loved ones, but also to pay attention to health, said Vadim Kostyukov, chief doctor of the 34th Central District Clinical Clinic of the Soviet District of Minsk. - On the site you can get consultations of specialists: urologist, ophthalmologist, obstetrician-gynecologist, endocrinologist, dentist, psychologist, general practitioner. Pass an examination to measure intraocular pressure, blood sugar level, make an electrocardiogram - assess your health status today and receive recommendations. I hope that such a day of health will become a good tradition of big holidays.

Students of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics offered to make applications and answer questions about Minsk. Future engineers (students of the Belarusian National Technical University) were invited to a master class in calligraphy, introduced to the national traditions of their countries. Ali Muhamed, for example, came to study in Belarus from Uzbekistan. Azam Davlatov is from Tajikistan. Anette Rasmedova was born and raised in Turkmenistan.

Minsk is a calm, clean, cozy city. During his studies, he became a native for us, the guys said. We wish the Belarusian capital prosperity and its residents to remain kind and responsive people.

The festive mood was created by artists and creative teams. By the way, most of the rooms were prepared by residents of the district: students of schools, colleges, the territorial center of social services of the population. The party ends at 20:00.
