The October District Court of Murmansk recognized as lawful the order of the State Labor Inspectorate against LocoTech-Service LLC. The employer must file an industrial accident report after the employee has received hearing damage from the locomotive’s beep. This was reported in the State Labor Inspectorate of the Murmansk region.
Initially, the company conducted its own investigation and decided that the incident was not related to production. The employee disagreed with the conclusions of the commission and filed a complaint with the labor inspectorate.
After further investigation, the inspector found that the cause of the incident was unsatisfactory organization of work. In particular, the employer did not assess the occupational risks associated with a possible acoustic injury.
The State Labor Inspectorate issued an order to the company to issue an act in the form N-1, approve it and send it to interested parties.
The employer tried to challenge this decision in court, but was refused. The court pointed out that the medical report on hearing damage was not challenged in the prescribed manner, and the previous act of the company did not correspond to the investigation materials.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” reported that the night cleaning at the construction site in the Kola district ended with the fall of a worker from a four-meter height.
