Elderly Orlovka stole left on the playground phone

In the Orel region, police discovered the theft of a mobile phone worth about 14 thousand rubles, missing on the playground. A statement to law enforcement agencies appealed to the mother of the injured student.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the child played with friends in the yard and temporarily left the gadget unattended on the bench. When the boy came back, the phone was gone. After reviewing the CCTV footage, the operatives saw a woman approach the bench, look around, pick up the device and leave.

Soon, the criminal investigation officers established the identity of the suspect - she was a 66-year-old local resident. The stolen phone was seized and returned to the owners. On the fact of theft, a criminal case was opened under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, during the investigation of the suspect, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a subscription not to leave.
