Employees of the Leninsky Internal Affairs Department of Minsk met with students of the Minsk State College of Light Industry and Integrated Logistics. During the conversation, issues of personal safety, responsibility and anti-fraud were discussed, writes sb.by.

- Attackers often offer quick earnings under the guise of harmless tasks, for example, offering a job as a courier, and then try to involve minors in criminal activities. Do not settle for dubious offers of earnings and carefully check the information.

The inspector also recalled the responsibility for offenses:
- According to the legislation, the general age of bringing to administrative and criminal responsibility comes from 16 years, and for some articles - from 14.
Yulia Haynatskaya urged students to remain vigilant and cited an example of a phone fraud that victimized a 16-year-old. First, he was called under the guise of employees of the telecom operator and under the pretext of extending the contract was persuaded to name the code from the SMS. Then the young man was contacted by another attacker, who introduced himself as a law enforcement officer, and reported that the teenager allegedly faces criminal liability. Frightened, the young man took a large sum of money from his parents and gave it to an unknown person.
