Holidays in Kalmykia were calm, and the police taught residents to recognize deception

Employees of law enforcement agencies of the republic summed up the work on ensuring order during various mass events. Thanks to the measures taken, they all passed in a calm and comfortable atmosphere, without any incident.

However, law enforcement officers not only monitored security, but also actively engaged in the prevention of remote fraud. While citizens were resting, the police conducted explanatory conversations with them. Residents were reminded of the simple rules of digital hygiene, advised never to pass codes from SMS to strangers and not to trust dubious links. In addition, law enforcement officers recommended always double-check any information by contacting organizations directly.

To consolidate knowledge, citizens were given special information booklets. They list the main signs of fraud, and also indicate the contacts of services, where you can contact if there is a suspicion of the actions of scammers.
