Entrepreneur from Vladikavkaz will pay compensation to the rightholder of “Masha and the Bear”

The company “Masha and the Bear” filed a lawsuit against a resident of the capital of North Ossetia for the illegal use of images of the cartoon characters.

According to RIA Novosti, this lawsuit was the largest of 442 filed by the copyright holder since the beginning of the year. The company demanded 617 thousand rubles for copyright infringement.

The court reduced the compensation to 20 thousand rubles. And more than 8 thousand women will pay for legal expenses.
