Chairman of the meeting of deputies of Kaspiisk was accused of fraud

Charge of fraud on an especially large scale was brought against the chairman of the city meeting of deputies of Kaspiisk Abdulvahid Javatov. This is reported by the SU IC of Russia in Dagestan.

According to the investigation, the accused, together with the former head of Kaspiysk Boris Gontsov and the director of one of the municipal institutions, organized the theft of budget money through the conclusion of contracts for information coverage of the activities of municipal institutions.

From July to September 2022, a commercial organization transferred more than 6 million rubles from the budget for services that were not actually fully provided.
