Today, on October 17, representatives of the Ministry of Information, the largest media and the publishing sector of the country joined the republican action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!” in the Pukhovichi district, the correspondent of sb.by reports.

On the territory of the Ruden forestry, the participants of the action planted about 13,000 alder seedlings and ate on an area of over 3 hectares, where they had previously conducted a sanitary felling.

As the journalists themselves joke, here they changed voice recorders and cameras for tools and seedlings to contribute to the restoration of the Belarusian forest. The fact that the action has long been a good tradition for airborne personnel, said First Deputy Minister of Information Denis Ezersky:

- Take a look at the team, about 90 people. Every year this action raises our entire information team, people come with a good mood. The weather met us in different ways: there were rains, cold, and sun. And today is a wonderful day. And I think it's not about the weather, it's about the spirit, because the action is very important. It is aimed, first of all, at our well-being, at ensuring that our Belarusian gold, the forest, is always with us. Even the amount of work that we are facing, we will do with such a friendly team with pleasure and ease. We don’t need to make an effort to gather people, just organize. And thanks to the Pukhovichi forestry farm, we have been working on this land for many years: events here are always hurried, always cool.

Among those who worked at the site on that day were both experienced journalists and young editorial staff. Anna Yakovleva, a special correspondent for Rural Gazeta of the publishing house Belarus Today, admitted that she was especially pleased to see many young people at the action:

- This means that the new generation does not care about our nature, our land. When you see how the guys gamble with the tools, how carefully and carefully lower each seedling into the ground, you understand that the Belarusian forest has a future. We, journalists, write a lot about respect for nature, but it is one thing to write, and quite another to make a new forest noise here in a few years. Such actions unite and charge really.

Among the participants were those who year after year do not miss this good initiative. Leading economist of OAO Belkniga Irina Malinovskaya shared her impressions:

- It's not my first year going to such events. I like that everything is very organized, we do such a good deed together and the result of the work is immediately visible. We need to restore nature so that something remains.

To take part in the action means to make a small contribution to a big cause - greening your native country. This opinion was shared by the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Respublika”, the chairman of the primary organization of the NGO “Belarusian Union of Women” of the publishing house “Belarus Today” Julia Statkevich:

- Imagine how many people came together to plant trees. And how many will come here in 5-10 years and see the grown trees that they planted, hear how their crowns sound. Since school we know the enormous importance of trees in human life, so I urge everyone who reads these lines to also take part in the action and give the forest a new life.

The forester of Ruden forestry Ekaterina Razmyslovich thanked the participants for their help and invited all Belarusians to join the action:

- This is a huge support for forestry. You gave this precinct a new lease of life. And I want to appeal to everyone: join the action “Give the forest new zhyzzo!” all over the country! The forest is our common wealth, and only together can we preserve and increase it. Come with whole families, groups, friends - here you are always happy to help, and in return you will get an incomparable feeling that you have done a good and important deed.
