During the gasification of the northern regions of the Nizhny Novgorod region stole 104 million

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, criminal cases have been initiated on fraud and bribery during the gasification of northern regions. This was reported in the regional FSB.

Employees of several subcontractors are accused of fraud, and an engineer of the construction control service of Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod LLC is accused of receiving a bribe.

According to investigators, in 2024-2025, the defendants stole 104 million rubles allocated for waste disposal during the construction of a gas pipeline and a gas distribution station. To this end, they submitted fraudulent waste disposal acts. The engineer is accused of signing fictitious acts for a bribe of 500 thousand rubles.

The engineer and two subcontractors were sent under house arrest, four more defendants are in jail.
