Specialists of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor checked 6,718 packs of cigarettes and other nicotine-containing products. Violations were found in more than five thousand units of goods. Most often, sellers incorrectly transferred information to the “Honest Sign” labeling system.
403 units of products without mandatory labeling were seized from illegal turnover. The inspectors also identified cases of violation of state prices and illegal promotion of tobacco and vape sales.
Entrepreneurs were given orders to eliminate violations. Their execution remains under the control of the department.
