The seller sued 10 thousand rubles for work without registration near Novosibirsk
In the Novosibirsk region, the court ordered the entrepreneur to pay compensation for moral damage to a woman who worked as a cashier seller without official employment

According to the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the Novosibirsk region, the woman got a job in the grocery store in November 2025. Despite the actual performance of work duties, the employer did not conclude an employment contract with her.
In April 2026, the employee received a notice of termination of the entrepreneur. After that, she appealed to the court with a demand to formalize labor relations, pay the due compensation and compensate for moral damage.
The entrepreneur himself did not admit the claim. He claimed that the woman allegedly asked not to issue an employment contract to avoid penalties for enforcement proceedings.
The court found that the employment relationship actually existed from 2 November 2025. During the proceedings, the employer voluntarily transferred the necessary information to the Social Fund and the tax service, as well as made mandatory contributions.
At the same time, it turned out that the district coefficient, compensation for unused leave and other due payments to the woman have already been transferred in full.
As a result, the Novosibirsk District Court partially satisfied the claim and recovered from the entrepreneur 10 thousand rubles of compensation for moral damage, 29 thousand rubles of expenses for a representative, as well as postage costs.
The decision has not yet entered into legal force.
Earlier, MK in Novosibirsk reported that the court recovered from the entrepreneur 100 thousand rubles of salary arrears and another 30 thousand rubles of compensation for moral damage in favor of a woman who worked without official employment.
