Projects “Nime – People’s Budget” will undergo competitive selection

On the Chuvashia Online platform, voting for improvement projects within the framework of the NME – People’s Budget program for 2027 was completed. This was reported by the head of the Republic Oleg Nikolaev.

Now the initiatives will be competitively selected. When determining the winners, the number of votes, the amount of co-financing and the importance of projects for residents will be taken into account. The best proposals will be supported and implemented.

Meanwhile, the implementation of 2026 projects continues in the region. According to the head of Chuvashia, more than 77% of works have been completed in rural areas, about 70% in cities.

“The authorities should provide resources and help implement popular initiatives. When a person chooses his own priorities and sees how the wasteland turns into a well-groomed space, everything changes. There is the very feeling of the master on his land - careful, creative, real. We continue to change our native Chuvashia together, Nikolaev said.
