On October 20, the pages of the republican family album appeared in the National Library of Belarus, where a ceremony was held to honor family dynasties from all over Belarus. The initiative to hold a large-scale celebration “Profession “Mother of many children” belongs to the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives on Health, Physical Culture, Family and Youth Policy. Beautiful and strong initiative is timed to the Year of the Belarusian woman. The idea was supported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, as well as leading public associations and political parties of the country.
Women were invited to participate in the ceremony, for whom a mother of many children is not just a status, but a privilege, a daily feat and a huge responsibility. It is also symbolic that the meeting was held within the framework of Parental Love Week and on the eve of Father’s Day, which was a vivid confirmation of the well-known truth that a strong family is held on equal respect for both parents. To participate in the festive marathon, family large dynasties from all regions of the country were invited - families from the Tarasevichi-Gromy-Urodnichi dynasties (Brest region), Krepsy-Petushkovi-Pavlovski (Vitebsk region), Kovragi-Zhovnerchuki-Shustovy (Gomel region), Zinkovichi-Ashurko-Dubkovy (Grodno region), Rutko-Golovatko-Pinchuki-Kasperovichi (Minsky region), Lizhensky-Molivsky (Monsky region). Each of them is the pride of its region, the wealth of the nation, its strength and future. Each of these families is a real example of preserving traditional values, loyalty to their family, love for their native land and creative work, which is transmitted from generation to generation. Behind the successes of each of these large, beautiful, self-sufficient families lies a serious daily work: sleepless nights, experiences, the desire and desire to devote time to each child equally.
- In your families grow true patriots of our country, looking to the future. You represent different professions. This once again suggests that we in society have the opportunity to develop everyone, to reveal all the talents, as well as to study, get higher education and find their place in life.

The work of the mother is highly appreciated. Many mothers are awarded orders of the Mother. Last year alone, 458 women were awarded this honorary award, and in our country there are more than 14,000 holders of the Order of the Mother. The deputy corps also pays special attention to childhood and motherhood. So we're living up to the times.

Olga Shpilevskaya also initiated the creation of the Order of the Father in Belarus:

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Yulia Berdnikova, addressing the participants of the celebration, noted that our country is a territory of happy families, peace, goodness and creative work:
- What is creative work if there are no children in the family? Large families are really the key to the success of our state. And when this large number of children is passed on from generation to generation, these are the bright pearls of our country, to which we must equate, with which we must take an example. As they say, children’s laughter is the key to happiness. I wish that this love, happiness and the birth of children will multiply in every family of our native Belarusians.
In Belarus, large families are given special attention. In 2026, the budget of the country provides more than four billion rubles for their support: families receive various types of benefits, as well as family capital. According to Valery Malashko, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives on Health, Physical Culture, Family and Youth Policy, having many children is a shield in the era of the demographic crisis that has affected not only the Republic of Belarus, but also many countries of the world. At the same time, everything is done in our state to ensure that there are as many Belarusians as possible:
- Over the past 6 years, the number of large families has increased significantly. If in 2019 105 thousand Belarusian families became large, then last year – already 124 thousand. About 400 thousand children in Belarus are brought up in large families. That's one in five children. It is important that at the state level, the trend towards large numbers of children is supported, including materially. This shows that we are on the right track.
- We see how powerful the roots are, how powerful the traditions are. The hall is filled with young people, they broadcast this tradition, showing that it is not just fashionable, it is necessary. From a strong family will be a strong state, said Valery Malashko.
