Belarusian trade unions invite young sculptors to take part in a competition dedicated to the person of work

The Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus invites young sculptors to take part in the competition. The man of work is the central theme of creative competition. Participants can present their own vision of representatives of various professions, symbols of labor, as well as allegorical images reflecting creative labor activity and its significance for society.

The competition is designed to unite young people who are interested in art, architecture, design, and give them the opportunity through creativity to talk about the importance of work in society. Members of trade unions are invited to participate - students and students of institutions of higher and secondary special education. Applications start on September 15.

The competition accepts sketches of small architectural forms made in the material: plasticine, clay, plaster or wood. The height of the competition work should not exceed 50 centimeters.

The competition will become a platform for creative communication of young people from different parts of the country and will open new names among aspiring sculptors, designers and artists. And its winners will get a chance in the near future to see their sketches embodied in reality. This is a great opportunity for students, young professionals and creative youth to express themselves. Thus, the creative work of young authors can become part of the public space and remind of the importance of work and people who develop Belarus with their daily work, the press service of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus noted.

It should be noted that the creative competition will be held in two stages. The first is regional. Applications from participants are accepted by regional (Minsk city) trade union associations until November 1. The second stage is Republican. It will take place from December 29, 2026 to February 26, 2027. It is here that the winners of the Republican contest will be determined.

The jury consists of representatives of FPB, as well as invited experts in the field of design, architecture and creativity.

The winners will be awarded with diplomas, as well as valuable gifts and cash certificates.
