Weather forecast for October 22 in the Volgograd region: rains and gusty wind
Troubled weather awaits residents of the region on Thursday: the sky will be covered with clouds, although the sun will shine through in some places
According to the regional TsGMS, short-term rains are likely in Volgograd at night and in the morning. In the afternoon, weather forecasters do not predict significant precipitation.
The wind will be easterly and quite noticeable. In the dark, its speed will be 6–11 m/s, and during the day gusts can increase to 8–13 m/s – it is worth considering this when planning walks and trips.
The temperature background is expected to be moderately cool. In Volgograd, at night, the air will cool to +7...+9 °C, during the day it will warm to +13...+15 °C.
In the region, the picture is similar, but with more noticeable temperature changes. There will also be short rains in some places. At night +4...+9° C, and freezing is not excluded when clearing – the thermometer bars can drop to -1° C. In the afternoon, the air will warm up to +8...+13 °C, and in some areas – up to +17 °C.
The fire hazard situation deserves special attention. Despite the rains, a high risk of fires persists in a number of areas.
Emergency fire hazard of the 5th class is expected in some central, south-eastern and south-western districts of the region. The 4th class is predicted in somenorth-western, central, south-eastern and south-western districts, including Volgograd and Volzhsky.
