The Prosecutor’s office of Balaklava district of Sevastopol has achieved a return of money for the 67-year-old pensioner, who in February 2024 transferred fraudsters 137 thousand rubles under the pretext of earnings. This was reported in the supervisory authority of the region.

It was established that in February 2024, an unknown person in the Internet messenger entered into correspondence with the applicant and convinced him to transfer money to certain accounts allegedly for earning money. The prosecutor’s office of Balaklava district appealed to the Soviet district court of Astrakhan with a claim to recover from the owners of bank accounts amounts of unjust enrichment. The court satisfied the requirements of the supervisory authority and recovered 137 thousand rubles from droppers in favor of the victim.
