The prosecutor’s office of the Shegarsky district of the Tomsk region monitors the preparation of local self-government bodies for the winter maintenance of the road network.
On the eve of heavy snowfalls traditional for Siberia, district prosecutor Sergei Ivanov conducted an on-site inspection to assess the readiness of local authorities and organizations for the winter period.
It was established that more than 6 thousand tons of sand were harvested for the processing of regional roads, and the equipment is in technically working condition.
At the same time, in connection with the non-conclusion of contracts for the maintenance of local roads in winter and the absence of anti-icing reagents, the prosecutor's office made submissions to the heads of administrations of Anastasievsky, Batkatsky, Northern and Trubachevsky rural settlements.
Elimination of violations is put under special control in the supervisory authority. The checks will continue.
