Expired fire extinguishers found in Kursk garages
In the Central district of Kursk there were raids on fire safety in garage and construction cooperatives. Specialists of the GO and emergency department of the district administration, together with employees of the supervisory activity department of the EMERCOM of Russia for the city, visited GSK No. 158 on Dimitrov Street and GSK No. 64 on Zvezdnaya Street.

The main problem that the inspectors identified is that garage owners do not monitor the lifetime of fire extinguishers. They were advised to replace fire extinguishers or send them to recharge. The owners were also interviewed about compliance with fire safety requirements, with a special focus on winter.
