Protvinsk volunteers warned about the risks associated with the MHS
In the House of Culture "Proton" of the city of Protvino, an educational campaign "Anti-Terror: Instructions for Action" was held, organized by the headquarters of the "Volunteers of the Moscow Region" at the Center for Youth Initiatives.

Participants of the event were pupils of creative studios, their parents and teachers.
The volunteer explained the features of small-sized balloons (MSH) - objects that pose a potential threat. MHF design is comparable to weather balloons adapted for the transportation of dangerous goods. Dimensions of such balls vary from two to eight meters. The lack of a propulsion system makes them inconspicuous: they do not form a heat trail and move silently, following air currents, because of which the trajectory of their movement remains unpredictable.
Participants of the action were handed information leaflets and announced an algorithm of actions when a suspicious object was detected. If an object similar to a small balloon is detected in the sky or on the ground, it is strictly forbidden to approach it, touch or attempt to open it. The first step is immediate removal to a safe distance, followed by alerting the emergency services to a single number 112.
Head of the Rainbow Studio Olga Nikitina stressed the relevance of bringing this information to a wide audience. According to her, the visual similarity of the MHS with ordinary balloons can provoke curiosity in both children and adults, despite the potential danger of the object. She noted that, unlike unmanned aerial vehicles, public awareness of the risks associated with the IAF remains insufficiently high.
