Pskov heat networks prepare equipment for winter load n

With a decrease in temperature, Pskov Heat Networks strengthen control over the operation of boiler and heat networks. This “MK in Pskov” reported in the press service of the enterprise.

At the weekly meeting, Igor Maksimov, director of the enterprise, noted that every degree dropped on the street requires a new return from the system: the coolant has to be warmed up more strongly.

The increase in temperature of the coolant increases the load on pipes, valves, compensators and welds, which increases the risk of leaks. Employees are instructed to immediately record any suspicious noises in pipelines, pressure surges and traces of moisture at joints.

Boiler houses are switching to a more intensive mode of operation: inspections are carried out more often, parameters and readings of devices are carefully checked.

Teams are ready to quickly go to the site to adjust or eliminate the problem.
