The heat chamber is a rectangular hatch with a massive cover. Inside are valves, drains, branches and control points. From here, specialists turn off areas, dump water, check the pressure and take samples of the coolant. The hatch protects equipment from precipitation and debris and can withstand the weight of cars.

Thermal insulation on above-ground pipes does not allow heat to go into the air, reduces energy loss, protects the pipe from corrosion and temperature changes.
