Drunk Minsk man beat the godfather of his daughter

Sentenced 37-year-old conviction did not have a citizen, who was accused of intentional infliction of less serious bodily harm, told the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti” in the Prosecutor’s office of Pervomaysky district.

The accused was drinking with his partner, the godfather of his daughter and his wife. After the company decided to continue the rest in some entertainment establishment, but the coom and his wife wanted to first come home to change clothes. On the way in the taxi between the drunken men there was a conflict.

When they reached their destination, one of the houses on the street. Kalinovsky - there was a fight between cronies. The accused twice punched a friend in the head, causing him to fall to the ground. Sitting on top, the attacker continued to beat him. Fighting men were separated by their companions.

Subsequently, the victim sought medical help and a statement to the police. According to the expert's opinion, he suffered less serious bodily injuries on the basis of a long-term health disorder for a period of not more than four months.

A criminal case was opened against his friend. He fully admitted his guilt, repented of what he had done, apologized to the victim and compensated him for the costs of treatment.

- The accused has a higher education, he works under a contract as a driver in a private company, is divorced, has two young children on a dependent basis, said Margarita Potemkina, senior assistant prosecutor of the Pervomaysky district, who acted as a state prosecutor in this criminal case. The court found him guilty of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 149 of the Criminal Code (“Intentional infliction of less serious bodily harm”) and imposed a fine of 40 basic units (1,800 BYN).
