Five young German shepherds from the breeding nursery of service dog breeding IK-8 were transferred to the units of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Tomsk region. According to the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Omsk region, the puppies have already passed the preliminary selection: experts noted their sharp smell, good health, balanced temperament and good learning — qualities especially important for service dogs.
Now in the new place, young animals will have to master the general course of training - it will become the basis for further specialization. Depending on the individual abilities of each puppy, his future service profile will be determined. Ahead of dogs are years of training, honing skills and conscientious work. The transfer of young animals is part of the systematic work to replenish cynological units and maintain a high level of training of service dogs.
