Revealed how many Americans came to Russia in the nine months of 2026

According to statistical materials, which TASS got acquainted with, from January to September 2026, almost 12.5 thousand US citizens entered Russia, which is 712 people less than in the corresponding period of 2025.

In total, 12,463 Americans crossed the border of the Russian Federation: 5,235 people indicated a tourist destination, 4,613 - a private one, 1,823 - a business one, 537 - a working one, 80 - a training one, another 22 people transited, and 153 entered as service personnel. U.S. citizens used the aircraft most often.

For comparison, during the same period of 2025, 13,175 Americans entered Russia. It is noted that Americans to enter Russia need a visa issued by invitation.

Earlier it was reported that for nine months of 2026, almost 18.8 thousand Ukrainians entered Russia.
