Today, on September 15, a free legal consultation for citizens was held in the House of the Belarusian Women’s Union. Traditionally, such actions are held once a quarter with the support of the Ministry of Justice. Details are reported by sb.by correspondent.

Oksana Senicheva, Deputy Head of the Department of the Ministry of Justice, Chairman of the primary organization of the BCJ in the structure of the Ministry, drew attention to the fact that today, as last time, there are 5 lawyers, two realtors, a mediator, a notary, a representative of the Main Department of Compulsory Enforcement of the Ministry of Justice.
- We saw that legal advice is more in demand, so we invite more specialists of this profile, the interlocutor explained. I am glad that my colleagues are willing to participate in this event. Experts try as much as possible to solve the issue of the person who applied on the spot. If necessary, they continue to work individually to help get things done: our people want to be useful. We sincerely rejoice when we receive feedback in the corridor that the applicants were helped to understand the essence of their problem, explained the algorithm for further actions, removed doubts.

According to Oksana Senicheva, citizens come with different questions. Most often they are concerned about the nuances of the division of property, custody of children, division of inheritance. Although among the topics raised there are also unusual ones, for example, concerning relations in horticultural associations and proposals for amending legislation in the social sphere.
The head of the Republican office of the BCJ Marina Denisevich summed up the results:
- Today, 25 people applied for legal advice in the House of the BSJ.

Marina Denisevich also drew attention to:
Another consultation is scheduled at the end of the year. But we see that the interest in this action from citizens is not reduced: the day before the office receives a flurry of calls, people want to sign up. We take a live turn – we see that the questions of the applicants are removed quite quickly, because highly qualified specialists come to us. There are many cases when citizens received real help - for example, a person wrote a thank you for finding a solution to his problem in the walls of the BCJ House last time. The House of the BCJ appeals for legal assistance outside the action – we interact with colleagues from the Ministry of Justice for an operational solution. I know that some of the people who recently entrusted us with their questions came to today’s legal consultation.
At the end of the year, the organizers of the action will discuss the possibility of extending the event to 2027.
