“Talk about the important: a happy family is a strong state” Polotsk will host an international forum on October 12-13

On October 12-13, Polotsk will host a large-scale forum “Talk about the important: a happy family – a strong state”. This is reported in the telegram channel of the Council of the Republic.

Issues of organizational and substantive content of the forum were the subject of detailed discussion at a working meeting led by Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic Igor Brilevich with the participation of Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic on Education, Science, Culture and Social Development Natalia Pavlyuchenko, representatives of regional authorities and parliamentarians.

The upcoming dialogue will emphasize the high representative status of inter-parliamentary interaction: foreign parliamentarians, heads of relevant committees and experts in the field of family and social policy have already confirmed their participation in the forum.

The program provides for a round table, which will exchange the best national practices to support the institutions of family, motherhood and childhood. This is an open platform for demonstrating the Belarusian experience, where systemic state care for a person is confirmed by real deeds and social guarantees.

The Belarusian model is valuable precisely for its practical orientation. Participants of the forum will be able to see first-hand how state guidelines are implemented on the ground – from corporate social packages for women at enterprises of the Polotsk district to support initiatives of young families. The culmination of the two-day program will be a deep and heartfelt dialogue meeting with families from all regions of Belarus, which will traditionally be held in the atmosphere of high spiritual heritage of the Polotsk land.
