The certificate for the restoration of the piano was presented by members of the Board of Trustees of the MDS in the museum by the head of the institution Lydia Markovich. The transfer of the document took place on the eve of the City Day of Minsk. For this holiday, patrons timed their action.
- This initiative among modern Belarusian philanthropists arose during the Cultural Evenings in the Minsk Business Meeting this summer, said Alexander Kopelev, Chairman of the IBC. We organized open meetings and conversations with representatives of the business community on the topic of solvency, morality and actual motivation for modern patrons to donate to the development of our beloved capital and its historical and cultural heritage.
Ah. Kopelev added that the meetings are accompanied by historical excursions from professional researchers and spiritual immersion in the musical classics. During one of the events, a proposal was spontaneously born to support the museum and ensure the restoration of one of the pearls of the exhibition.
