The regional highways of the Angara region are cleared of snow and treated against ice

Road services of the Irkutsk region continue to eliminate the consequences of snowfalls and frosts on regional roads. Specialists clean the roadway and distribute deicing materials (PGM). This was reported by the Governor of the region Igor Kobzev.

On the highway Bratsk — Ust-Ilimsk in Ust-Ilimsky district involved three combined road vehicles (CDM). On the site from the 70th to the 246th kilometer, road workers remove snow and process PGM coating - at the moment about 60 tons of materials have been consumed. In the Bratsky district on the eve of precipitation was not, but because of the sharp frosts in the evening on the same track will also send special equipment for the prevention of ice.

In addition, road work is organized in other areas. The Bodaybinsky branch is involved on the Bodaibo-Mamakan highway, and the Nizhneilimsky branch on the Khrebtovaya-Rudnogorsk-Novoimsk highway. About 20 tons of deicing agents were used in these areas.

The state of regional roads is under constant control. Due to changing weather conditions, drivers are asked to be especially attentive, strictly observe the speed limit, keep a safe distance and take into account the condition of the road surface.
