Regular direct flight to Bangkok launched from Minsk National Airport

The opening of a regular direct flight of Belavia Airlines to the capital of Thailand took place at the National Airport Minsk on September 25, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the Telegram channel Minsk Airport.

The departure area of the airport was decorated in Thai style: passengers were greeted by bright scenery, traditional music and aromas of exotic fruits, which created an atmosphere of tropical vacation before boarding the plane.

General Director of Minsk National Airport Vladimir Chereukhin stressed the strategic importance of the new direction:

- Each new direct flight is not just a line in the schedule of Minsk National Airport, but a serious step forward for the development of the transport potential of our country. Bangkok is not only a point of attraction for tourists, but also one of the largest aviation hubs in Asia, opening our travelers convenient connections throughout the region.

Flights will be operated weekly on Sundays on the wide-body Airbus A330-200.
